(G)I-DLE Confirm Full Group Comeback in May 2025
(G)I-DLE is officially returning as a full group this May! After months of solo activities, the powerhouse girl group is preparing for a new album that fans have been waiting for.
Cube Entertainment confirmed on April 9 that (G)I-DLE is currently in the final stages of preparation for a May 2025 comeback, with all members participating. This marks their first group comeback since re-signing with Cube in December 2024.
Their First Full Group Release in Nearly a Year
(G)I-DLE's last group comeback was Super Lady, which topped major charts and won numerous awards, including:
- Grand Record of the Year – Korea Grand Music Awards
- Record of the Year – Melon Music Awards 2024
In 2025, members focused on solo projects:
- Minnie released her first solo album ‘HER’ in January
- Yuqi dropped her digital single ‘Radio (Dumb-Dumb)’ in March
Now, with all members reunited, anticipation for their synergy and signature power is at an all-time high.
Self-Produced K-POP Excellence
(G)I-DLE is one of the few self-produced girl groups in K-POP, led by Soyeon, who writes, composes, and produces the majority of their songs.
From ‘LATATA’ to ‘TOMBOY’, ‘Nxde’, ‘Queencard’, and more, the group has built a strong identity with bold themes, striking visuals, and genre-bending sounds.
Their upcoming album is expected to continue this trend of high-quality music that breaks K-POP norms while staying relatable to fans.
